The Story of Crooked Willow

Over the years, my husband Chris and I have filled our home with antique and repurposed pieces.  We have a "if you love it you should use it" philosophy.  At Crooked Willow we want to share that sentiment with our customers to inspire and encourage them to live with the things they love.

In 2004 we purchased the neglected farm site property on Highway 27,  with the intention of renovating and renting.  We made many trips to salvage dealers, auctions and flea markets in search of the period pieces which would restore the buildings to their previous glory.  Our efforts soon yielded tin ceilings, built-in cupboards and antique lighting which were incorporated into the restoration to give the property a classic farmhouse flair.

With the work well underway, the idea emerged to start a business which would showcase antiques nestled in with new and repurposed items, creating a vintage look that customers could envision in their own homes.  Our concept is "Embracing Pieces of the Past into the Heart of Your Home".  Crooked Willow opened in May of 2006.  

Through out the years, many changes have taken place at Crooked Willow.  We have added new showrooms and hosted special events for our customers.  The biggest change came in 2010 when our family moved to the Main House.  We  now live in the home built from salvage and repurposed pieces.  We love it here and are happy to call it home.

We invite you to come visit us at Crooked Willow.  We have four showrooms for you to explore including the Barn, Timber House, Summer Kitchen and Trapper's Lodge.  We have a large selection of gifts, antiques and vintage home accessories.  We think you will be delighted to discover history and detail in every corner as you spend your day with friends.
